Tesla is starting to make the case for the Tesla Semi truck in the U.S. tractor market, with an online application to sell and install tractor supplies.
The Tesla Semi is the company’s most affordable option, at under $20,000 and is the most popular choice among truck owners in the market.
The Semi comes in three sizes: the Semi D, which sells for $24,995, the Semi E, which starts at $27,995 and the Semi H, which goes for $30,995.
The Semi trucks have been the focus of a recent class action lawsuit, filed by a California woman who alleges she was denied access to a Tesla Semi because she was a woman and the company was discriminating against women.
The lawsuit also accuses Tesla of failing to ensure that truck buyers who were female had a safe and adequate choice of truck to fit their gender.
The company says that there are over 4 million semi-trucks on the road, but it doesn’t have a specific number for tractor sales.
“The vast majority of our customers are male, but some customers are female and some are male and female,” said Elon Musk, Tesla’s chief executive officer.
Tesla does not disclose the gender of its customers.
“Our goal is to make our customers’ experience with Tesla a positive one, and we are committed to providing the best possible products for the market,” said Tesla spokesperson Jessica Tulloch in an email.
Tesla said it’s working on adding more tractor options in the future.
Tesla has been selling the Semi since the beginning of 2016, and the truck has gained popularity among truckers, with some buying more than a dozen of the trucks a month.
Tesla has added a number of tractor options, including the Tesla Mini, the Tesla X, the XS, the S, and more.
But for the most part, Tesla sells the Semi as a standard truck.
Tesla is expected to unveil new Semi models in the coming weeks, but the truck is a new concept for the company, which has struggled with high demand for its Model 3 sedan.
Tesla announced last month that it was ending production of the Semi, which was supposed to be the first of several models it would sell after the Model 3 launches in 2018.
