NEW JERSEY — The New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry has begun sending job seekers a federal job application in a bid to increase the number of applications received this week in the state.
The state Labor Department will begin sending applications to Trump supporters on Wednesday, the first time the application will be sent in person since President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
In a statement on Wednesday night, the department said applications will be processed at an office on the first floor of the Department of Commerce building.
A second floor office will be open by Tuesday.
Job seekers are encouraged to fill out a short questionnaire and send it to a state Labor Secretary or a county commissioner.
The Labor Department is responsible for processing all applications for all job openings.
